# import sql – not bringing in pages & posts

 * After issues with our host we have swicthed companys and were provided the backup
   of the database to allow us to do this. However, the file they have provided 
   is not importing the pages/posts into the site, however, when opening the file
   as a text file I can see them.
 * I have tried to import through myPhp with no luck and confused about this.
 * Would anybody have any other ideas,
 * thanks in advance

 * Hi Mark,
 * thanks for your response, I have followed these steps for the PHPmyAdmin, and
   imported the file, no errors showed, and showed 200+ lines updated, yet nothing
   was imported? this is what is causing the confusion as I can also see these in
   the tables within phpmyadmin

 * Be sure the table prefix is the same for the database and wp-config.php
