# Import wrong date format

 * Good afternoon, when I import a XLS table the Dutch date format of the Excel 
   sheet changes to US format.
    So 19-05-2022 will change to 05/19/2022.
 * And with an XLSX table 19-05-2022 will be 2022-05-19 00:00:00
 * Is there something I can do about?

 * Hi Tobias, I found another topic where you wrote that it’s not possible. I’ve
   import finally with CSV and than it is o.k.

 * thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.
 * Indeed, the best solution for this is to use the CSV format for the import, as
   it will contain the data in the same way as you see it in Excel. Good to hear
   that you already found this!
