# Importer overloading server

 * My host keeps suspending my account because they tell me that the wp-property
   importer extension is creating infinite tmp files and overloading their servers.
   We can temporarily resolve it by deactivating the plugin.
 * The RETS server I connect to has an average of about 5-6000 properties. How can
   I prevent the tmp files from overloading the servers? Could you please give an
   example of a typical setup of the Importer schedule?
 * I see there are Pre-QC and Post-QC limit options which might help but your documentation
   is not very clear. If you could explain how both work it would help a lot.
 * Also, maybe there is something I can change in the Property Query field? Mine
   says:
    (STATUS=|A)
 * Again, I think the easiest way to explain how to setup this importer schedule
   so that it does not overload a server would be if you could provide me with a
   sample setup for typical RETS servers.
 * Thanks

 * Hello.
 * Actually, I would start with a suggestion to change your host provider to more
   powerful. E.g we do provide WordPress hosting services which can take such load
   on the server which WP-Property Importer require.
 * Also, I would suggest dividing your schedule into several schedules, e.g you
   can divide by Property Types. That can be done in Property Query field. Set up
   services you could find here – [https://www.usabilitydynamics.com/product/wp-property-importer/docs/xml-and-rets-setup-services-for-wp-property-importer](https://www.usabilitydynamics.com/product/wp-property-importer/docs/xml-and-rets-setup-services-for-wp-property-importer)
 * And third thing which I will offer is our new paid service. Here is a summary
   of what we are offering:
    – You will have real-time MLS listing updates on your
   site from your entire MLS. – Your visitors will have an extremely fast and responsive
   experience interacting with your site that will keep them engaged. – You will
   have full control over all your data and website, you will own all the data and
   the code. – You will be able to change the look of your site by selecting a theme
   from our theme marketplace. – We will automate the creation of 200-300 thousand
   unique landing pages to reach qualified leads.
 * All this is possible because we took the best of what WordPress has to offer
   and supercharged it with a world-class hosting platform we designed. Then, we
   created niche SaaS micro-services that are constantly working on your behalf –
   importing data, analyzing search queries, creating sitemaps, and more.
 * We are the only company that is providing a hybrid solution such as this.If you
   are interested in such service, just contact us using this form – [https://www.usabilitydynamics.com/contact-us](https://www.usabilitydynamics.com/contact-us)

 * No thanks, my host is fine.

 * Please provide an example. Your link is has no information regarding my question.
   What exactly can be done in the Property Query field? What should I enter??

 * Hello.
 * If following documentation is not enough for you – [https://www.usabilitydynamics.com/product/wp-property-importer/docs/basic-rets-import-step-by-step-for-wp-property-importer](https://www.usabilitydynamics.com/product/wp-property-importer/docs/basic-rets-import-step-by-step-for-wp-property-importer)
 * You could order particular paid service where we are settings up Property Query
   field up to your request.
    [https://www.usabilitydynamics.com/product/wp-property-importer/docs/xml-and-rets-setup-services-for-wp-property-importer](https://www.usabilitydynamics.com/product/wp-property-importer/docs/xml-and-rets-setup-services-for-wp-property-importer)

 * No, that documentation is not enough, there is no info about Pre-QC and Post-
   QC limits there. Actually, there is no reference at all to ANY of the advanced
   settings. REALLY FRUSTRATING THAT YOU CONTINUE TO PUSH YOUR SALES PITCH INSTEAD
   OF JUST ANSWER THE ORIGINAL QUESTIONS. GEEZ, WE ALEADY PAID FOR THIS! Why don’t
   you want to help??
 * Also, the page of the link you gave me contains broken links so its pretty useless,
   like a half setup.

 * Hey Miclovin,
 * Ive connected with our developers about the issue your having. In the Advanced
   options for your properties you can set the Pre and Post QC limits to how ever
   many properties you would like. If this doesn’t resolve your problem we’d be
   happy to investigate other avenues to reduce the tmp. files overload that is
   crashing your server through our consulting services.
 * Fell free to reach out to me directly at [marcus.smoot@usabilitydynamics.com](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/importer-overloading-server/marcus.smoot@usabilitydynamics.com?output_format=md)
   for more information on how to set up a call.
 * Thanks!

 * When I try Qc limits, images do not download and the property status stays in
   draft forever with this:
 * > (Pending Image Downloads)
 * It never changes.
 * Also, if I use the QC limits then another important option is greyed out, becomes
   unavailable:
 * > Remove properties that are no longer in source XML from this site’s database.
   > This can now be done if the the import configuration does not have a Pre-QC
   > or Post-QC Limit.
 * If I can’t check that option, then the data grows infinitely?? Right now, I have
   24GB of data for about 6000 properties. I know there is some optimizing I can
   do with image sizes but one thing is for sure, I cannot have old/expired property
   listings accumulate invisibly.
 * Could you please post some screenshots of a sample setup, including the advanced
   options, that is efficient?

 * I have spent a lot of time investigating my options. It seems that the above
   suggestion is partially right but I spoke with my RETS provider and they do not
   allow search queries for property types. I also found that out the hard way by
   staying up all night trying to get that Property Query DMQL line to work.
 * Also, there is one critical component missing from this plugin that my provider
   mentioned, there should be a separate login for the sole purpose of verifying
   whether all properties are active or not, so the data can be purged. This is
   whats necessary to remove old listings, data integrity.
 * So, I think what needs to happen is 3 import schedules need to be setup.
 * 1. All the data
    2. All the photos 3 Same as 1 but with another username, for
   data integrity (purge old listings)
 * Im not really sure how to get these 3 import schedules working together. I don’t
   want to end up with 3x the data I need.

 * Hey Miclovin,
 * To resolve your issue we would need to move forward with our consulting services.
 * There are a few avenues we can explore to get your site running efficiently,
   however we would need to gather more information about all the tools involved
   in this workflow.
 * This will require our time and resource to complete or give you step-by-step
   directions on how to accomplish what you need.
 * Let me know if you would like to move forward to get our assistance.
 * Thanks.

 * The problem is that I have already paid for the plugin, I have already paid to
   have it setup, I have already paid for several other plugins from you that I
   have not even been able to use because this Importer is the most important part
   of the website. So no, Im not going pay AGAIN for more of the same. I would rather
   start fresh with a better provider if I have to spend any more money on this
   one plugin.
 * The right thing to do is help on this forum since its the only place you have
   that we can talk openly so others can see the solution too. Don’t you want happy
   customers?? Happy customers come back, its much easier making money from repeat
   business rather than trying to find new ones. I would have gladly renewed my
   licences if they worked from day one.
