 * Hi, I’m trying to move an installation of wordpress to a new installation on
   a multisite. I’ve managed to import/export all the posts, categories etc. and
   would like to move the existing ratings over too. Is that possible? I saw there
   is an import/export option on the GD Rating System and performed the export but
   I don’t seem to be able to upload it to the new installation, so assume I’m either
   doing something wrong or that it’s not for that!
 * Thanks

 * Plugin export tool is used to export plugin settings nothing more. All plugin
   rating data is stored in the database tables with the prefix ‘gdrts’.
 * Usually, when websites are transferred, database backup is used to make sure
   all the data is transferred. WordPress export works only for WordPress content,
   nothing more. You need to manually transfer rating tables. But, if the WordPress
   export/import process changed post ID’s, then the rating data will be useless.
   Best to try it and see if it is OK.

 * Thanks, I’m a bit worried about just wiping everything if I start messing around
   with tables!

 * Plugin has 4 tables, and if you transfer them into multisite network, you need
   to adjust prefix to tables too. I don’t like WordPress Import/Export XML, because
   it is very limited and practically useless for any website using plugins that
   have own data. True backup plugins transfer everything.

 * Thanks, I’ve just realised I’m using the old version of this (the star rating
   one). Have downloaded this one instead but I can’t get it to show up on my posts–
   they just say ‘No votes yet’ with no voting options. What am I doing wrong? (
   If I need to start this as a new thread, let me know!)
 * Thanks

 * This GD Rating System plugin is not compatible with old GD Star Rating plugin.
   You can use transfer data tools to transfer data from the old plugin (if you
   have database tables from old plugin in your website).
