# Importing from Textpattern

 * Installed WP in five minutes. Really, really nice. The problem is, I have two
   years of posts and comments in a Textpattern installation. I discovered the import
   textpattern script, and the updated one, but neither seem able to log into my
   webhost(s). I have checked my login info and server addresses, but every time
   I try to run the script I get the “tIt looks like your database information is
   incorrect. Please re-edit this file and double-check all the settings.” error.
 * Is there some other way to import this stuff? I’m excited to try this new WP 
   version, but hesitant to start modifying my installation until I’m sure I can
   actually import all my old material. Any advice appreciated!
 * P.S.
    Ahem. Using localhost instead of the actual servername worked. For anyone
   else interested, the import script I used is discussed in this thread:
