# Importing posts to wordpress

 * I accidentally deleted some tables in my wordpress database, and it erased all
   of my posts. the design is still there, but now it only has the “welcome to worpress”
   post.
 * I have a database backup that is on a notepad file. I tried importing it to phpmyadmin,
   but i’m still not seeing the posts on the blog.
 * i went into the admin section of wordpress, then went to “manage” and then import.
   I see a bunch of options to choose from, but don’t know which one to use that
   takes a notepad file.
 * anyone have any clue on how to get the backed up posts back to my blog?

 * i went to phpmyadmin, then backed up the databases from there, and when I saved
   the file, it downloaded to my desktop as a .txt file
