    Hey all,

    I’m trying to use Astra Starter Templates, and I get an error when trying to finalize my website. It gets to the point of importing widgets, and then I get the following error:

    We are building your website…

    Sorry, something went wrong.

    What went wrong?

    Importing Widgets failed due to parse JSON error.

    More technical information from console:

    { }

    and yes, it just shows empty braces.

    My website is completely broken after this failed attempted import. Any thoughts? I’m on NameCheap hosting.

    Hi @melroseadam, sorry for the delay.

    Commonly, this such a thing is due to a poor server configuration. You might want to increase the host resources by referring to this doc, before importing a template.

    I hope it helps.

    Kind regards,
    Herman 😊

    Hello, im facing the same issue when trying to use a template from the “starter templates”.

    I went to try increasing my resources on cpanel but I already had more than enough according to the recommendation on the page @bsfherman linked.

    I also tried un-installing the other plugins I had. Didnt work either.

    Im not sure what else I can do, any help would be greatly appreciated.
