Improper PHP tag closure breaks sitemap
-
Hi. I wanted to let you know about a problem I found in your plugin, Country and State Selection Addon for Gravity Forms. We had an error with our sitemap.xml file that Yoast SEO’s support team said was caused by closing PHP tags somewhere on the site (see https://yoast.com/help/xml-sitemap-error/).
We selectively deactivated plugins until we narrowed the issue down to Country and State Selection Addon for Gravity Forms. In the codebase of this plugin, we identified the following three files that had PHP closing tags and extra lines that needed to be removed.wp-content/plugins/gforms-addon-for-country-and-state-selection/class-gf-cws-fields.php
wp-content/plugins/gforms-addon-for-country-and-state-selection/includes/functions.php
wp-content/plugins/gforms-addon-for-country-and-state-selection/includes/class-gf-cws-admin-fields.php
We removed these and our sitemap worked. The problem will come back in the next update of the plugin unless you change it in your base code. Please make the change. Thanks!
