# Inability to create shortcode

 * Hey!
 * Trying to create a new shortcode using your code editor results in an endless
   chain asking you to reload the page. Constantly pops up the corresponding warning:
   ‘**
   Switching editor will refresh the page. Please save your changes before refreshing.
   Do you want to refresh the page now ?**‘
 * I am using the latest version of WordPress with classic editor by default.

 * Yes, when you switch editor above information will be shown.
 * It is just to inform the user to save the changes before switching the editor.
 * When you click ok, the page should refresh the editor should be changed.
 * I guess you want to use code editor as default ?
    I’m planning to introduce option
   in future release to set default editor.

 * Thanks for the quick response.
 * But the problem is that after clicking OK:
    a) the editor is not choose; b) the
   window is reloaded; c) the same message appears again
 * and so endlessly.
 * If you choose ‘Cancel’, the message disappears, but the [editor remains unselected](https://yadi.sk/i/Jd_KvZJO4k0vrg).
   
   And when you try to save the record, an endless loop with a message starts again.

 * The problem, as I understand it, is not in your plugin, which I successfully 
   use on another site.
 * The culprit is the [Ultimate FAQ Solution](https://wordpress.org/plugins/ultimate-faq-solution/)
   plugin. With its connection, a bunch of problems in the editors generally come
   out.
