 * How can I increase the width of the main menu for this website?
    The panel widths
   are at 100%, and I tried forcing them to be larger values, which extends my menu
   to the right hand side and off the page.
 * I’m thinking I have to edit the theme?
 * The page I need help with: _[[log in](https://login.wordpress.org/?redirect_to=https%3A%2F%2Fwordpress.org%2Fsupport%2Ftopic%2Fincrease-main-menu-width%2F%3Foutput_format%3Dmd&locale=en_US)

 * Hi ejhkim,
 * Do you mean you want to increase the width of the menu itself, or the width of
   the sub menu under Tutorials?

 * I want to increase the width of the sub menu. When in flyout mode, the menu looks
   fine, but I want multiple categories in the menu. However, when I change it to
   grid layout, the menu is confined to the width of the bar starting from the first
   main menu element to the last.
    I’ve changed the menu to grid layout so you can
   see what is going on. The submenu under “Tutorials” is not large enough, and
   the text wraps around. Is there a way to increase the submenu size? It is already
   at 100% in the panel width settings.

 * Hi ejhkim,
 * Please try setting the _Mega Menu > Menu Themes > Mega Menu > Panel Width (Outer)_
   option to:
 * `.container`
 * Then use the grid layout for your sub menus. That should give you sub menus as
   wide as the site content.

 * Thank you very much, that fixed it.
