# Increase TTFB

 * Doing various tests, I found that this plugin, when active increases my TTFB 
   by as much as 1 second, how come?

 * Thanks for those links. That looks like a one-time occurrence. Let the site preload
   all cache, and it will go back to normal. If you look at your charts, the “fast”
   first load is on a cache hit, as can be seen from the headers:
    `x-litespeed-
   cache: hit` And the second response is slower, because it’s a miss: `x-litespeed-
   cache: miss` You should be able to replicate this by enabling/disabling any plugin.
