 * I see that there was an issue with this error cropping up in various situations
   a couple of weeks ago, but it’s just started cropping up for me when users try
   to share to Facebook, on this page for example:
 * [http://www.eveningecho.ie/news/as-good-as-gould-is-st-vincents-michelle/](http://www.eveningecho.ie/news/as-good-as-gould-is-st-vincents-michelle/)
 * Has the problem crept back into the codebase? At first I thought it might a caching
   problem with either AddThis or Facebook, as I cache fairly heavily on this site,
   but this article was only posted yesterday.
 * I’d appreciate a little help figuring out.

 * No it definitely has not. As far as I’m aware yours is the only report. This
   error was caused by a very specific problem. We have just added support for IPv6
   to Wordfence and some older versions of PHP didn’t provide that function when
   we launched the code. So within a few hours we released a fix to deal with that
   specific issue. It hasn’t appeared since. So I’m reasonably sure this is a caching
   issue for you.
 * Thanks,
 * Mark.

 * Thanks Mark. It must be Facebook doing the caching so, as the data seems to be
   being served correctly on our site now. One more reason to hate Facebook. Thanks
   for coming back to me.
