# initial configuration – php.ini

 * On the initial configuration screens it asks to “Select the PHP initialization
   file supported by your server” however as far as im aware my server does not 
   use any of these 3 options… any php.ini config i need to make i have to add to
   the .htaccess file.
 * so… will it still work if i only have the .htaccess file for the configuration?

 * If you need to add PHP instructions to your .htaccess, you are likely running
   Apache with mod_php.
    In the “Select your HTTP server and your PHP server API”,
   did you try to select **Apache + PHP5 module** ? On next page, you will see the
   code to be added to your .htaccess.

 * Im running litespeed… and on the next page it does show the code for the htaccess
 * so all is ok?
 * it seems to work and its blocking bots form accessing the login page

 * You can log in to your WP dashboard, then click on the “NinjaFirewall > Overview”
   menu. That page will show you if it is enabled and working well, or if there 
   is any error/warning.
