# Insert Google Maps?

 * I love the idea behind this plugin, it fills a gap that the main WP platform 
   should have covered as a feature!
 * I read in a forum that someone managed to use FVP to display a Google map embed
   code instead of the featured image which I would like to do on my one page website:
   [https://www.buiafest.com/](https://www.buiafest.com/) (scroll down to ‘Hidden
   away in Umbria’s back pocket…’) and you can see the placeholder underneath.
 * I’ve enabled the Iframe option in media settings and selected ‘display: replace
   automatically’. The map preview displays correctly in the post editor, but it
   doesn’t display on the front end, only the default placeholder.
 * I’ve come across this issue of embedding a Google map in a featured image a number
   of times, so it might be another successful feature to add? More than happy to
   donate as I appreciate this is an open source project!
