# Insert Link button not working

 * Hi
    I have a brand new instal of 3.4.1, am using twenty eleven and the twenty
   eleven Theme Extensions Plugin. Everything is wonderful except that the insert
   link button in the kitchen sink does not work – it appears to “click” but I don’t
   get the dialogue box pop up to allow the url and other details to be entered.
 * ANy thoughts please. Site in question is avrilmillar.com

 * Have you tried:
 * – deactivating **all** plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works,
   re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).
 * – [resetting the plugins folder](http://codex.wordpress.org/FAQ_Troubleshooting#How_to_deactivate_all_plugins_when_not_able_to_access_the_administrative_menus.3F)
   by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause
   problems.
 * – re-uploading all files & folders – **except** the wp-content folder – from 
   a **fresh** download of WordPress.

 * Right, many thanks for the advise so far – it seems that JETPACK is the culprit!
   Shame as its a useful plugin… any ideas anyone on how to make it work properly?

 * I had the same exact problem and it ended up being the kk Star Ratings plugin.
   Again, a very nice little plugin that I wish wouldn’t cause this problem.
