# Insert Links

 * Hello,
 * how can i insert links into the slides?
    This could be work in two ways: either
   the hole slide is a link to another site or just for a part of it i.e. a button!?
   And of course every slide should have another link…!

 * Edit Slide | Slide Link
    Enter the URL you want the slide to link to.
 * Save.
 * That’s it.

 * It sounds like you want more than one link?
 * The Slide Link option is for the link for the whole slide image. If you want 
   to add buttons or captions with links, you would want to use a [custom slideshow template](http://jleuze.com/plugins/meteor-slides/customizing-the-slideshow-template/).
 * To add another link option to the slide post editor, you can use Advanced Custom
   Fields. Here is a good tutorial on [using Advanced Custom Fields with Meteor Slides](http://thewebprincess.com/customize-meteor-slides-with-advanced-custom-fields/).
