# Insert pictures code disappears

 * Hello… normally it all works great with pictures I insert into a post. But today
   when I am trying to insert a picture I can choose the picture but when I hit 
   the “insert into post” nothing happens. I will not transfer any codes into the
   post – so nothing happens and no pictures…. What can I do?

    is this happening with only one specific picture? in a specific post? or
   is a over website issue?

 * Hello… I both tried both with an old and a new posts. I was trying to make a 
   new post to see if I got the same problem and I did.
    I can still write the html
   codes in the html window and it stays there… or copy a html code from an old 
   post and insert it in the html window. The problem is that is doesn’t insert 
   the codes when I say insert the codes.. it’s like they just disappear…

 * Have you tried:
 * – deactivating **all** plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works,
   re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).
 * – switching to the Twenty Eleven theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.
 * – [resetting the plugins folder](http://codex.wordpress.org/FAQ_Troubleshooting#How_to_deactivate_all_plugins_when_not_able_to_access_the_administrative_menus.3F)
   by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause
   problems.
 * – re-uploading all files & folders – **except** the wp-content folder – from 
   a **fresh** download of WordPress.

 * so only the hard way… okay… thank you for your help… I will take it step by step…
   I am not so good with the resetting .. so I hope that is not the problem…

 * This started happening to me today, too. JUST STARTED after I updated the VSLIDER
   plug in. I deactivated the plug in and it works again, so it’s the plug in causing
   the issue.

 * that was the problem… the VSLIDER.. I deactivated it and the problem was gone…
