# Insert short code into Theme template

 * I try to insert the short code into the theme template but no success.
    The code
   i have inserted looks like this: `<?php echo do_shortcode('{adinserter banner}');?
   >` i also change the {} with [] without succes . (banner=AD_NAME)
 * Please help me!

    Ad Inserter will replace
   it with the ad code.

 * I have the same question that this poster did. What he’s asking is if you can
   hard code a manual ad into a theme – directly into the HTML instead of within
   a post. I understand how the ad insertion works within wordpress, but I’d like
   to be able to hard code something into my theme – much like he was talking about
   with the “do_shortcode” function, which is how this is done with typical shortcodes.
   Is this something you can do with this plugin?
