 * What I’m trying to do is probably simple, but I have not really messed around
   with this sort of blending before, and have always wanted to do it.
 * However I’m running into a bit of a problem with that regard.
    I just need to
   use the blog for a simple news & releases portion of my site so I can have a
   few moderators publish to this specific page at any given time, most of the rest
   of the site is pretty static.
 * The template/design:
    [http://www.octometa.net/alpha/](http://www.octometa.net/alpha/)
 * basically the entire word press will be published to that, in just the white
   areas.
 * the WordPress:
    [http://www.octometa.net/presstest/](http://www.octometa.net/presstest/)
 * so its just the very basic, and id ont want the blue or any of the rest of this
   particular template in the one I want to put it in, just a plain white background
   inserted in my sites theme.
 * —————
 * Second & unrelated but maybe a nice thing to know/do, is say I get this wordpress
   into this template, but wanted to have the Titles of each blog on the main page
   of the website so visitors could see just the headline of it and click it and
   be brought to that specific post?
 * thanks alot all for your interest and any help or information willbe great!

 * Hello Octometa,
 * What you are looking for is wordpress themeing information. It is located here:
   [http://codex.wordpress.org/Theme_Development](http://codex.wordpress.org/Theme_Development)
 * If your site is going to have a few static pages, and some news, you should just
   let wordpress run all of it. It would actually be easier then trying to work
   the two together. Though, you may need to hire a wordpress theme designer, to
   code your current design into a very simple theme.
 * If you know your way around HTML and CSS, just drop your elements into the index.
   php of [Sandbox](http://www.plaintxt.org/themes/sandbox/), and you ll be done.

 * If you are a dreamweaver user this tutorial might help..
 * [Dreamweaver Templates to WordPress Themes](http://searchfriendlywebdesign.com/dreamweaver-templates-into-wordpress-themes/)..
   it’s something I wrote and if you use the tutorial, please post support questions
   on Search Friendly Web Design as I can follow things better from my site than
   the WP Forums.
 * Good Luck!
