Inserting a Customized Header for myMag Theme

    I just downloaded and activated this theme on my website,

    I’d like to have a logo and a text title, but it doesn’t seem to work quite right.

    I’m guessing the easiest thing to do would be to create a .jpg of my own. I’ve been going around in circles trying to figure out how to do this and get it done.

    Can someone tell me how to then insert my own custom header in this theme?

    What are you using to make the logo?

    Easiest would be to create a transparent PNG or GIF (assuming that by “doesn’t seem to work quite right” you mean that it doesn’t blend.)

    By “not quite right,” I mean that the theme has a provision for inserting a logo, which is a .jpg, but then the logo is inserted, the text title doesn’t show at all for some reason.

    If I create my own custom header, what code do I need to put in to get WordPress to recoginize it, and where does it go, header.php?
