inserting shortcode from media library

    Hello,

    great plug-in. I was able to insert an embedded pdf from the media library the first time i used this plugin, however, now when I insert, it leaves out the shortcode and just inserts the file name.

    I tried de-activating and re-installing, but no luck. I’d have no problem manually entering the shortcode, but I’m trying to set the website up so that less savvy users are able to upload and embed without entering code.

    Do you know what I can do here?

    Hi sdetroy,

    Assuming you’re using the most recent version of GDE (even if your WordPress version appears a bit out of date), do you see that the option to insert shortcode from the media library is checked in GDE Settings?

    If indeed you’re using WP 3.4.x, when you’re in the media library do you see options to check a box for inserting the shortcode and selecting a profile? The box there is checked and you still get a link rather than a shortcode inserted?

    Just trying to determine at what part of the process it may be breaking down for you. Thanks for any clarification.
