# Instagram API Issue

 * Hope you are doing well.
 * I was integrating Access Press Social Counter into one of my websites when I 
   faced an issue with Instagram.
 * As Instagram API is deprecated and facebook graph API documentation is not helping
   much in this case.
 * Is there any way to connect a instagram account? Or should I wait for an update?

 * Hello Alson,
 * Facebook is not allowing us me to retrieve data from other instagram accounts
   anymore. Is there a tutorial that can be followed?

 * Could you please elaborate on your issue more clearly and tell us if this issue
   is persisting from a long time or it is new.
 * We suppose the Instagram has not yet deprecated its older APIs. If it does we
   will come up with the new update of this plugin.

 * Thanks for the reply.
 * Instagram has not depcrecated the APIs but it also is not allowing new applications
   to be created on developer.instagram.com.
 * The application that we create on FB developer account doesn’t have the details
   that the plugin needs.
