# Instagram doesn’t embed

 * Whenever I embed an Instagram post in one of my articles, it turns into a link.
   At first it works fine, but then I return later and see that it instead of the
   IG photo, it’s just a link. I’ve tried almost everything I’ve found online: just
   posting the link, embedding with the IG embed code, only using https:// and no
   www.
 * I’m a bit at loss here. Here is the article for example:

 * How are you doing the embedding? Are you just pasting the link in the editor?
   Or getting embed code from somewhere. What does the embed code look like?

 * Hi!
 * I’ve tried multiple ways:
    1. I’ve added it by clicking on adding media and using
   a link. Then it always looks like it’s working first but after a while it turns
   into a link. The link then looks like this: [https://www.instagram.com/p/BYL1o45A0Zg/?taken-by=chaptertravel](https://www.instagram.com/p/BYL1o45A0Zg/?taken-by=chaptertravel)

 * 2. I’ve tried embedding by going to the photo, clicking the three dots and clicking“
   embed”. I then copy the code into the text part of my article. The embed code
   looks like this:

 * When I do this it just turns into a blank IG photo, so without the picture. I
