My Instagram feed suddenly stopped loading on my website. When I go to the plugin settings, I see this error message:
Error! Could not connect to Instagram. Please try creating a new Access Token on this page.
I followed the steps to get a new access token (through the Instagram login option) and got an access token. But, no userID appeared.
So I then went through the Facebook login option and synced Spotlight to my business facebook page. But no access token or userID appeared for me to paste into the plugin box.
If I re-click through to the link to generate an access token, it just shows me my logged in Instagram home feed or Facebook home feed.

First, could you confirm if you’re using the latest version of Spotlight? If not, I recommend updating to the latest version, as it includes important fixes and improvements that might resolve this issue.
Regarding the access token generator, if you’re generating it by clicking the “Professional Account” button (via Instagram), there’s no need to enter a User ID. You can simply paste the access token in the plugin settings (Instagram Feeds > Settings > Accounts), and it should connect automatically.

After reviewing, it seems you may not be using Spotlight. Since the widget originates from your theme (Pipdig), I recommend reaching out to their support team for assistance.
It’s worth noting that Pipdig has included a link to our Access Token Generator on their page. This has likely led to the misunderstanding that the issue is related to Spotlight.
