Install / delete plugins and themes doen't work

    Hi

    After upgrading to WP 3.4.2 I can’t install or delete plugins and themes. In the administrator menu in the dashboard install and delete aren’t displayed.

    If I link directly to ../wp-admin/plugin-install.php I get the message that I don’t have the rights to see this page.

    I had a look in the net to solve the problem – but I didn’t found a solution:

    1. checked the rights of folders and files – ok
    2. checked the prefixes in the database – didn’t change anything – ok
    3. deleted unused plugins
    4. added a new administrator account – same problem – no install/delete menu for plugins and themes

    Any help? Thanks.

    Finally found the problem:

    In wp-config.php one line disabled install and delete plugins and themes – seems that I forgot to delete this line some months ago 😉

    define( ‘DISALLOW_FILE_MODS’, TRUE );

    After commenting out this line everything is ok.
