install problems

    i have signed up with go-daddy for a domain name for my new site. next i used gator to host the site. i did the install for wordpress from the gotor site using quick install and it seems like it installed properly but when i try to get in to the admin part of my site all im seeing is my website with no options to get in to the dashboard at all. please help and let me know what’s going on as i need to start working on the site asap

    i can link to my site with the site name/wp-admin but all i see is my site and no way to get in to the dashboard

    Why? Is it a parked domain with GoDaddy? Using which domain did you install WordPress?

    I used GoDaddy to get my domain and it was http://www.fitandhealthy4-life.com
    i used gator for hosting.

    Then it seems you have not changed name servers. That’s why a page setup by GoDaddy comes up when you click on the above domain.

    so i just got off the phone with GoDaddy and reset my password and resent
    1st Nameserver:
    2nd Nameserver:
    to gator im hoping this will fix the problem.

    Yes, if you changed name servers it will fix the problem but it can take some time to propagate.

    Can take up to 72 hours, but in many cases it may take only a few hours.
