# Install WPvivid on unupdated WordPress site?

 * I’ve been asked to have a look at a hobby website that uses the Twenty Fourteen
   theme. The theme is V. 1.7 and it should be on the latest V. 4.2 from April 2025.
   All the plugins are still on old versions from years ago. The WP is at 6.7.2.
   Obviously, I need to create a staging site. My question is, will installing WPvivid
   on this old site crash it? If the old site doesn’t crash, do you think I can 
   back it up and migrate it with your plugin to the staging site and work on it
   in the staging?

 * Normally installing WPvivid Backup Plugin won’t cause a site to crash.
 * Yes, you can use it to migrate the site. You can also use the staging function
   of it to create a staging site for the live site directly.
