Title: Installation help, stuck on wp-admin/install.php Last modified: August 18, 2016 --- # Installation help, stuck on wp-admin/install.php * [wturtle](https://wordpress.org/support/users/wturtle/) * (@wturtle) * [20 years, 10 months ago](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/installation-help-stuck-on-wp-admininstallphp/) * Hey guys, New to the board so I hope I’m doing this correctly, I search and read a number of post but I can’t seem to get my installation going. * I’ve uploaded everything to [http://ouralbum.isayisay.com/wordpress/](http://ouralbum.isayisay.com/wordpress/) * but when I run the installation on [http://ouralbum.isayisay.com/wordpress/wp-admin/install.php](http://ouralbum.isayisay.com/wordpress/wp-admin/install.php) * I get the “Error establishing a database connection”. I’ve tripled checked that I have the db_name, login and password correct. * One thing I’m not sure is whether my php is setup correctly. My db_name is set to myalbum.isayisay.com, but the weird thing when I log in it says I don’t have permission to create databases, so I’m not sure if that’s a problem or not. * Any information you guys can provide is greatly appreciated!!
