 * New to WordPress and seem to be spending more than 5 minutes on the install.
 * I’ve created my database in mySQL with a user name and password that I am well
   aware of. When I go to the /wp-admin/install.php, I keep getting the “Error establishing
   a database connection” message. I’ve tried just about everything — expect the
   correct solution. I would appreciate any and all help.
 * I read in a previous message about being firewalled by port 3306. Any suggestion
   would be appreciated! Thanks!

 * Hey, I’m getting the same problem. I just changed hostname in the config file
   to 127.0.0.1 and it got further along. I don’t know why hostname and 127.0.0.1
   would behave differently.
 * Now I’ve got a Can’t select database error.
 * Off to debug,
