# Installation on Development Server

 * We need to be able to work on our development server(s):
 * [https://staging#.clecigars.com/](https://staging#.clecigars.com/) prior to deploying
   on the live domain (clecigars.com)
 * The update process says we need to register the plugin under the new domain but
   we should not have to break the live server (de-register) to test everything…
 * can you help?

 * Hi! What update process are you referring to? This is a free plugin that doesn’t
   require any registration. Our paid extension allow activation on staging sites.
   If you have a paid extension and our license server doesn’t recognize the staging
   environment as such, please send us an email at [support@wpovernight.com](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/installation-on-development-server/support@wpovernight.com?output_format=md)–
   this is the forum for the free plugin and wordpress.org does not allow us to 
   use these forums for our paid extensions.

 * We have the following installed:
    WooCommerce PDF Invoices & Packing Slips Professional
   WooCommerce PDF Invoices & Packing Slips Premium Templates
 * We have a 3-pack and ended up activating the staging server using a spare license
   out of the 3-pack.

 * Thanks – those are paid extensions indeed. I was able to locate your license 
   based on the above information and increased the site count by 1 and it looks
   like our server properly detected the staging site (the count was still at 2/
   3) – if you have any further questions please contact us by email and we’ll do
   our best to help!
