 * I’m sure this plugin is awesome, but I can’t use it.
 * Actually, I could install it fine, but as soon as I activate it, the whole site
goes blank, literally, nothing the page. The only way I can get my site back
is by deleting the Media Library Assistant plugin folder.
 * I’m trying to install it on a local WordPress site for testing.

 * Have a look at this earlier support topic; you may have the same problem, and
   the solution is easy:
 * [Admin Area Goes Blank](http://wordpress.org/support/topic/admin-area-goes-blank)
 * > So to anyone reading this, if you are getting this error, it is because the
   > PHP memory limit is too low. You’ll need to look that up for whatever server
   > you have or whatever control panel you’re using.
 * If that doesn’t solve your problem, let me know.
 * Thanks for your interest in the plugin and the report; I hope you’ll get a working
   install without too much trouble.

 * Thanks David, that worked perfectly. I would never have figured that out.

 * Thanks for the update – I am happy that your issue was resolved easily.
 * It occurred to me that the PHP memory limit is, of course, a global setting.
There’s nothing specific to MLA that causes the problem; it’s the total memory
use of WordPress, the theme and all of the plugins that finally goes over the
limit. It’s something to watch for whenever you install a new release or add
   something to your configuration.
