# Installation & setup problems

 * I’ve just installed this plugin and started to follow the instructions but got
   stopped in my tracks when I went to [https://www.ups.com/upsdeveloperkit](https://www.ups.com/upsdeveloperkit)
   It – it says to inform the developer. I have no idea what to do after this.
 * There is also an error in red on the settings page – **250002: Invalid Authentication
   Information**
   How do I get past this – I’m no expert by the way.

 * Thanks for reaching out.
 * Did you already [register your UPS account](https://octolize.com/docs/article/ups-how-to-register-an-account/)
   in the same country where your WooCommerce store is registered?
 * If so you should be able to authenticate our plugin using the [OAuth method](https://octolize.com/docs/article/ups-general-settings/#api_settings).
   On the plugin settings page, choose the OAuth in the API Type and click Authorize.
   You’ll be redirected to UPS website to log in and grant access to our plugin.
 * Once it’s done, you’ll be able to display UPS Live Rates in your store.
 * The other API Type you’re referring to, API Access Key – XML API, is being replaced
   by OAuth. Therefore, following the UPS current standards, we’re also recommending
   this method to all new users.
 * Please confirm if that solved the issue.
