 * My blog needs to be fixed. it’s working overall however after a sudden move to
   another host done by someone who did not program my blog resulted in a few issues
   that I am now finally trying to tackle.
 * Number one is my backups. I have backwpup installed and it was backing up on 
   my dropbox but after working for 4 months the automated backup started to return
   to me with email logs with error messages.
 * So now I am trying to fix that I received the advice from someone to install 
   updraft plus.
    I want to give that a try but since I have little knowledge anymore
   about wp or webpages anymore since I been out of it for over 12 years I looked
   up this tutorial and figured ill use that.
 * I was told I do not have to uninstall backwpup before installing updraft plus.
 * I downloaded manually one last database backup (a my sql file?) to my laptop 
   I assume I am safe with that?
 * Before I do anything I would like to know if just installing the plugin can cause
   my blog and site pages to disfunction?
 * Last but not least I wanted to use this tutorial when installing updraft plus:

   Please let me know if that’s a good tutorial to follow for me.
 * The last thing I can use right now is my blog to stop functioning as I am not
   able to fix it right now and it is my outlet and diary on my healing journey 
   so it is important to me. Thnx in advance for the help.

 * Yes it won’t cause any conflict with UpdraftPlus.
 * The tutorial you have is good and yes you can follow those steps in installing
   UpdraftPlus.

 * Thnx Bryle, The installation was successful and apparently, I also have successfully
   made a backup.
 * I have manually successfully made the first backup to my dropbox (that’s what
   the plugin showed and the backup files are in my dropbox as well.) However at
   the bottom of my plugin page from updraft ist sais: “existing backups :0” that
   confuses me. Can you explain why it sais that?
 * I am assuming I can now uninstall backup from my wb? I don’t see the use to keep
   two backup plugins running to my dropbox seeing that backwpup didn’t work anymore
   anyway.
