# Installation with another plugin

 * Hello.
 * I want to install your plugin for comments, as I really want to try one of the
   add-ons. But I have a question.
 * I already have one plugin for comments and notifications “Comment Reply Email”.
   What do you think I should do. Install wpDiscuz first, configure and remove the
   old plugin or first remove the old plugin and then install wpDiscuz.
 * Please tell me how to do better so that everything goes well.

 * The correct steps you should follow are:
    1. Deactivate the plugin for comments.
    2. Ensure that all comments exist on your website.
    3. Install and activate the wpDiscuz plugin.
    4. Clear all caches before proceeding

 * This depends on the cache plugin you’re using. If you don’t have cache plugins,
   just ignore the step.
