# Installation wordpress 3.0.1 error

 * I’ve created several wordpress sites and never had an issue of installation yet
   I’m receiving this error with my new site.
 * Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘<‘ in /homepages/5/d273665119/htdocs/josephmanning/
   omm/wp-config.php on line 91
 * I’ve downloaded old config files and changed the data to see if it was a bad 
   version but that still doesn’t fix this issue. Thanxs?

 * What is on line 91 of your wp-config.php (obviously assuming no passwords etc
   for whatever reason)
 * I’ve just looked at one of my installations & line 91 is the last line and contains:
 *     ```
       require_once(ABSPATH . 'wp-settings.php');
       ```

 * Thats the thing my config file ends on line 71 so I’m a bit confused what 91 
   would be.

 * It sounds like you’re looking at the wrong file as this seems to make no sense.
   Do you have any other wp-config files in the same hosting space? Such as from
   other installs of WordPress?

 * I deleted the files and re-downloaded wordpress and then re-uploaded and it worked
   this time……no idea. Thank you internet hiccups.
