# Installation/Server Queries

 * Hi all,
 * I am trying to get WordPress installed over my old basic site. However when accessing
   it via FTP I do not see a public_html folder to copy the files too. I have a 
   httpdocs folder and a httpsdocs folder. Do I copy it into one of them instead?
 * Also in both of those folders there are files in them. Do I delete all the files
   so they don’t conflict with the WP ones if they do go in there?

 * Most likely, yes. Do you have an active website in either of those directories,
   and if so, which one?
 * Are these the only two directories? Is there maybe another called “www” or “web”?

 * In general, yes, especially if you don’t need the site that’s already there. 
   Make a backup copy of the files first, just in case.
