# Installing custom template

 * Hi,
    I would like to install a template that I tweaked myself, however, I can’t
   install it? I tried the method [https://connections-pro.com/quicktip-tweaking-core-templates/](https://connections-pro.com/quicktip-tweaking-core-templates/)
   and also [https://connections-pro.com/documentation/install/templates/](https://connections-pro.com/documentation/install/templates/)
   the instructions under Legacy templates, both give no result. I don’t see the
   template in the backend.

 * My apologies, the documentation for this is out of date. The WP Plugin team required
   that I remove the code that made this possible. I just updated the page to inform
   readers that this method is no longer supported.
 * You can follow this dev tutorial on how to use template override files instead.
