 * I’ve been trying to install Bluehost for a current WordPress website but after
   it’s successfully downloaded it still takes me back to the _sitename.com.wordpress.
   com_ link.
 * Do I need to be doing something other than installing Bluehost in order to have
   a self-hosted site?

 * You mean you’re trying to install WordPress on a Bluehost account?
 * Use Simple Scripts in cPanel under the Software section
 * Bluehost offer technical support and can advise you exactly where the problem
   is
 * You’ll also need to change your nameservers to point to bluehost
 * This can be done by logging into your domain managers account and finding nameservers
   or DNS
 * If you are migrating from a a free hosted wordpress.com extension, you’ll need
   to use the WordPress export tool and import your content using the import tool
