 * My Better WP Secrurity plugin asks for my IP address so I can white list it. 
   Have tried my website address-does not work. I don’t know which part of any data
   this is-please help.
    A total newbie Steve, UK

 * So, you don’t know what your IP is? Am i right?
 * Your Public IP Adress is displayed in
    Security > Dashboard
 * Scroll down to “System Information”
 * Public IP-Adress: 172.16.254.1 (for example!)
 * If you can’t find it, use IP Adress Lookup
    [http://ip-lookup.net/domain-lookup.php](http://ip-lookup.net/domain-lookup.php)

   dynamic IP addresses, meaning your public IP may change every time you connect
   to the internet.
