# Installing theme error

 * Hi! im currently using the Salient theme and im trying to change to the Divi 
   theme from elegantthemes.com the proble is that when every time i try to upload
   the theme it gives me this message: The uploaded file could not be moved to wp-
   content/uploads/2014/12.
 * What should i do?
 * yesterday, also wordpress whas asking for my ftp credentials( something that 
   has never happened to me before)….

 * the problem is notthe theme, it is on wp/server, i have installed this theme 
   in several sites and never got this error before… that’s why i assume that the
   problem is within the WP or the Server.

 * No, I don’t think the problem is with WP.

 * Does your WP-CONTENT directory has the proper permission settings? Are you able
   to upload any other theme? Do you have any problems uploading images to the Media
   Library?

 * You need to make sure the permissions setting for that folder are set correctly.
 * You may want to check this article (it’s a bit technical but its what’s probably
   needed). If it’s really all abracadabra to you, you might want to check with 
   your hosting company.
