Installing WordPress

    I’ve recently downloaded WordPress, but I think I’ve done it completely wrong. I just saved it to my desktop and that’s it. I read that you’re meant to unzip and save it to your server!?..
    But I have no idea at all what any of that means.

    Please can someone explain in detail what I’m meant to do so I can’t start using WordPress for a website.

    to install wordpress, you need a domain name and a webhost

    assuming you have a host, look in their cpanel for a one click install of wordpress

    if you want to do it yourself

    if this is still over your head, you may want to consider signing up for a blog at
    wordpress.com
    and using that service
