# Installing WordPress on Linux Mint OS

 * Is there the ability to install WP on my Linux Mint 22.2 OS?
 * If so, could someone point me to directions to do this?

 * WordPress can also run on many hosting environments. These just need to meet 
   the requirements. These are described here: [https://wordpress.org/about/requirements/](https://wordpress.org/about/requirements/)
 * So you would need to see how you can meet these requirements in your environment.
   I am not familiar with Linux Mint, but I suspect you will need to install a web
   server such as Apache or nginx, PHP, and MariaDB or MySQL as a database system.
