I had copied and pasted those files directly from my old server to my external hard drive. I decided to check if I can get the site working in my localhost. I installed the wordpress by first throwing the folders from my external hard drive to my xampp’s htdocs folder and by changing the old wp-config.php addresses to my new localhost. After that I went to [http://localhost/mysite](http://localhost/mysite) and installed the wordpress. The installation seemed to go well and wordpress was working. Plugins and themes seemed to be in place but mostly all other contents were still gone (pages, categories etc.). So I was wondering if I did something wrong or why are the contents still gone from my new localhost wp site? If so, please active the one that you were using before.
