Title: install.php not opening Last modified: August 18, 2016 --- # install.php not opening * Resolved [deusrom](https://wordpress.org/support/users/deusrom/) * (@deusrom) * [20 years, 3 months ago](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/installphp-not-opening/) * So I’ve uploaded the wordpress folder to my server space but when I go to run install.php I get the following message * “The page cannot be found The page you are looking for might have been removed, had its name changed, or is temporarily unavailable.” * blah blah blah and so on. Why am I not able to open install.php? I’m running OSX and using Firefox. I have tried Safari, Camino, and OmniWeb to test it and I get the same error. Any suggestions/ideas? Thanks! But I just don’t get why I can’t get install.php to work. I’ve read that some people have problems with godaddy and wordpress. I even just uploaded it to my root directory and tried [http://www.toddbox.com/wp-admin/install.php](http://www.toddbox.com/wp-admin/install.php) with no luck. I just know that I have the Economy Plan from GoDaddy. I just want to get wordpress on there. I had to change my server from windows to linux. It was free to change. All is well for this matter. Thanks!
