 * i’m using hostgator hosting.i manage more then 10 wordpress install and never
   had such issue.
 * i’m trying to do a manual install on mydomain.com
    but after putting server details
   the installation stuck to mydomain.com/wp-admin/install.php and firfox gives 
   this msg
 * “” The webpage at [http://mydomain.com/wp-admin/install.php](http://mydomain.com/wp-admin/install.php)
   has resulted in too many redirects. Clearing your cookies for this site or allowing
   third-party cookies may fix the problem. If not, it is possibly a server configuration
   issue and not a problem with your computer.””
 * looking to find answer for this issue.

 * See if you have existing .htaccess file at the root, that might be the culprit.
 * Or try using a different browser or clear the browser cache.
