Instructions for multilanguage

Hallo WordPress community! I try to setup our website using wordpress multisite. We need two languages german and english and I read wordpress multisite is capable to do it but I can’t find good instructions. At this moment I have a singlesite running with the qtranslate plugin but want to have a different wordpress site for every language for cleaner setup. Can you help or direct me to a guide? We also have to be certain that the plugins we use in the singlesite will support usage in multisite. Thank you so much for any help.
