    Hello and good day.

I am adding the Brevo JS Script.

Script center is giving me an error of the following:

Write your JavaScript without wrapping it in script tags.

However, if I save and reload the page, the error is gone.

How do I add the script without the script tags?

The script looks like the following:

    Hello @rayeason ,

    Thank you for reaching out.

Even if you reload the page, the error is still there. As a result, the code won’t work. Could you please paste the code in your next answer? It is missing in the thread.

Thanks in advance. Looking forward to hearing from you.

If I reload the page, the error is not there.

That is why I was inquiring.

    Here is the code:

As you can see, there is no error showing.

    Hello @rayeason ,

Thanks for providing the screenshot. The error doesn’t appear on refresh but remains due to the plugin’s logic. It won’t work as intended. You can only apply a JS code using a third-party script. In this case, you can either modify the code to suit Complianz or add it as a snippet and block it before consent using the “Block a script, iframe, or plugin” feature in the Script Center (it’s just below the “Add a third-party script”).

To do this, block the URL of the CDN: “https://cdn.brevo.com/js/sdk-loader.js”. It should look like this: https://prnt.sc/evC3HmI02rXK

Please let me know, looking forward to hearing you.

    Thanks for the screenshot.

But where would I add the code as a snippit?

Also, Google tag manager has an HTML tag.

Since Complianz is handling Tag manager, could I add it there?

Just wondering. I’d prefer to use Complianz to handle it.

    Hello @rayeason ,

It’s safer to use an external source here or implement it manually on your site. You could either use WP Code or the Custom HTML tag on GTM, both options are fine.

    Hope this helps.
