# Interface images not loading

 * After I upgraded the blog to the latest version, it was fine. However, when I
   just logged in, I noticed the WordPress admin/editor images aren’t loading anymore.
   🙁
 * I’ve already tried these but failed to resolve the matter:
    1. Uploading new 
   images to wp-admin/images. 2. Reset the permissions of the folder and images.
   3. Reinstalled using Tools > Upgrade. 4. Disabled all plugins.
 * Not sure if this might help.
 * But I noticed images from the plugins and themes are also not loading anymore.
 * Could someone please help me out with this? T_T

 * Have you tried:
 * – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-related problems?
 * – [resetting the plugins folder](http://codex.wordpress.org/FAQ_Troubleshooting#How_to_deactivate_all_plugins_when_not_able_to_access_the_administrative_menus.3F)
   by FTP or phpMyAdmin? Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause
   problems.

 * Hey Esmi,
 * The suggestions still did **not** resolve the issue.
 * 5. Switched to Kubrick.
    6. Reset plugins folder.
 * I’m trying a clean install in the same folder now.

 * Hurray! Found the problem.
 * Weird finding is I had to add the site domain into the hotlink protection list.
 * Oh well, at least this has been resolved. Thanks for your suggestions though.
