    Hi,

    I’m having trouble eradicating this error – I’m using the plugin with my Zoho mail account, and have done everything I can think of to verify the ReplyTo address. Zoho has not been much help in this so far.

    Full text:
    EMAIL DELIVERY ERROR: the plugin WP Mail SMTP v2.5.3 logged this error during the last time it tried to send an email:

    Mailer: Zoho Mail
    Internal Error (500) – You need to verify the ReplyTo address to send emails using this account. Please verify the ReplyTo address.
    Consider running an email test after fixing it.

    Any tips?

    More info: the test email sends successfully, and indeed all emails to myself (same email address as plugin is configured with) send successfully. However, all emails to external addresses fail with this error.

    I have set the ReplyTo address within Zoho mail configuration to be identical, but it doesn’t seem to affect the error at all. In addition, the admin email on my WP site is configured to be this email as well.

    Thanks for reaching out. When you get a chance, could you please share what emails are sent from your site? Are you using WooCommerce? If yes, could you please leave the ‘From Email’ empty in WooCommerce > Settings > Emails? We have a known bug where the authorized email is added to the reply-to header of the email.

    I have the same issue. Did you find a solution yet?
    So far the emails that are not sending are:
    – the receipt email
    – and the password reset email.
    Please let me know if there is a solution.

    Thanks for getting in touch. Since Zoho is a Pro mailer, could you please submit a support ticket?

    Zoho mailer requires the reply-to to be verified, unverified reply-to in the email will result in the error. To verify the reply-to, please follow these instructions.

    Hi @sanzeeb3,

    I just re-read this topic and discovered that I missed your original reply to my post! Thank you so much – I am trying the solution you suggest (deleting “from” email address in WooCommerce > Settings > Emails) and will make a note here if it works.

    Thanks also for the suggestion to file a support ticket if that fails.
