# Internal Server Error

 * Hello,
 * I am new to WordPress. I am using the Atahualpa Theme to build my site.. Every
   couple of clicks I am getting:
 * “Internal Server Error
 * The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to
   complete your request…Apache Server at utestimony.com Port 80.”
 * I spoke with a rep at GoDaddy and he informed me that they were configured correctly
   and if it wasn’t a browser issue, it was a WordPress issue. It happens on both
   IE and Firefox, thanks.

 * I got that error message at a dead-end page a couple of days ago after having
   messed something up in `.htaccess`. So, maybe take a close look there and/or 
   possibly upload a fresh copy from a backup you know to be good.

 * Ask GoDaddy how to access the error logs for the server to see what’s causing
   that problem.

 * Thank you very much.
 * I updated the error log and will check back in 24 hours as indicated. It irks
   me that the GoDaddy rep did not suggest this. He however did spend some time 
   trying to get me to sign up and use their Web builder service; I declined.

 * Hmm, I’d have to agree with you there – not very helpful. I hope the error logs
   can help get this sorted for you – let us know when you have some info.
